What is a NOTAM?
A notice to air missions. It is an official notice about changes that affect flying, such as closed runways, restricted airspace or navigation beacons out of service.
What does Notam Sentinel do?
It takes raw NOTAMs, which are written in code and abbreviations, and shows the ones that matter in plain English on a map and in a list. The original text is always one click away.
Is this an official briefing?
No. Notam Sentinel is for information and awareness only. It is not an official briefing source and must not be used for flight planning or operational decisions. Always use official sources such as NATS AIS, FAA NOTAM Search or your state's AIS. See our disclaimer.
Where does the data come from?
From official NOTAM feeds, starting with the FAA NOTAM Management Service, which also carries international NOTAMs. We will name any further sources on this page as we add them.
How often is it updated?
Continuously, 24 hours a day. We check for new and changed NOTAMs every 15 minutes.
Which areas does it cover?
The UK, the USA, Europe and the Middle East at launch. Tell us on the waitlist form which other regions you would like.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time, with no minimum term. You keep access until the end of the month you have paid for.
What is not included?
Weather, charts, flight planning, route checks and official briefing packs. Notam Sentinel shows NOTAMs only, and some low-priority notices are left out to keep the view clear.
What happens to my details?
We use your email address and any optional details only for Notam Sentinel. They are held by our email provider, Resend, and you can unsubscribe or ask us to delete them at any time. See our privacy notice.
